| What's
YiQuan |
As a great martial art, YiQuan makes it possible to improve
your strength quickly (effectively and definitely), by exciting
your whole body, enabling you to become powerful without
building muscles. Releasing
your inner potential, this art is quite easy to learn, can
generate power in an amazing way; but this requires dedicated
practice to acquire its essence - the real essence of traditional
Chinese martial art. YiQuan based on traditional Xingyi
Quan, was founded in 1920s by the Great Master Wang Xiangzhai.
YiQuan's training includes Zhangzhuang, Shili, Fali, Mochabu,
Tuishou and Sanshou etc. I particularity focuses
on dual aspects: improving health and acquiring devastating
combat abilities.

A memorable meeting!
|
My friend Jin Shan and me are practicing Tai Chi for several
years. Interested in YiQuan, but especially curious to
"see" his legendary power, one day we decided
to meet Master Yao at his home in Beijing.
After a very warm welcome, he served us a traditional
cup of tea, then we started to ask him many questions
concerning Chinese martial arts and effective free fighting:
we were so surprised by his simplicity but especially
by the relevancy of his answers which gave us so directly
compared with so many "Masters" who will keep
them as "secret" .
Later my friend Jin Shan asked Master Yao to practice
some pushing hands: it was amazing with almost no perceptible
effort my friend (who weights more than 200 pounds)
flew literally on the wall 3 meters away, unable
to resist to this sudden amount of power!
Then I decided myself to "taste" this issuing
force: unfortunately for me, in the very few seconds of
the pushing hands, Master Yao just slightly flapped on
my chest with the reverse of his hands, and then...Gee!!
I was not able to breath for a few seconds and was almost
dropping on the ground if my friend did not pull me up
at that time.
After this meeting it was evident that Master Yao was
THE instructor we were looking for several years: possessing
himself the real "kungfu" of Chinese martial
arts but also willing to explain the authentic knowledge!!!
That is how we met Master Yao, and now Jin Shan and me
are his students.
